Director
I discovered directing as a way to develop my own artistic impulses. I have worked in different media such as podcasts, audiovisuals and of course theatre and opera. I am interested in opening spaces for female voices, transgressing ideas about femininity and using theatrical language to reveal wounds.

Kilele
Viajero, a riverine peasant, undertakes a journey to the land from which he was displaced by the war of the new gods. He must confront the horror of the past to bury his dead with ¡Kilele!, the chant of rebellion, jolgorio, and joy. Based on the story of the resilient Bojayá community in Colombia, Kilele is our conversation with the land, the water, y nuestros muertos after the war renders all unrecognizable.

Hamlet, Princess of Denmark by William Shakespeare

Herencia
In this collectively created piece of theater, members of El Colectivo wrestle with, celebrate, explore, and explode their collective herencia across Latin America, the United States, and beyond.
Created through and from improvisations, conversations, dreams, poems, arguments, and yes, maybe even some chisme, this work also tackles the things we inherit from history – both personal and political – including stereotypes, borders (both imagined and painfully real), citizenship, languages, as well as feelings of exclusion and belonging.
