Hamlet, princesa de Dinamarca es mi adaptación bilingüe del clásico de Shakespeare.

Hamlet is a character in deep grief who, like me, lives in a country at war. He is simply another orphan who has been forced to carry his grief in silence and solitude. He is a person who has not received, in the language or actions from others, the recognition or validation of what he is experiencing. "Thou know'st 'tis common; all that lives must die,/ Passing through nature to eternity", says his mother in Act I. How to mourn in a country at war? ¿Cómo vivir el duelo en un mundo que ha naturalizado la violencia, en el que los muertos son solo un número más? In a world in which the dead are disposable tokens in a game for power? For me, these are the great challenges that Hamlet must face and that I have had to face myself. Hamlet lives an encysted grief that festers, erupting in desperate, intimate, solitary, long and complex conversations, conversations with an invisible character, the audience, who will help Hamlet to find the denied language of mourning via their silent recognition of the communal grief.
