Herencia by El Colectivo

In this collectively created piece of theater, members of El Colectivo wrestle with, celebrate, explore, and explode their collective herencia across Latin America, the United States, and beyond.

Created through and from improvisations, conversations, dreams, poems, arguments, and yes, maybe even some chisme, this work also tackles the things we inherit from history – both personal and political – including stereotypes, borders (both imagined and painfully real), citizenship, languages, as well as feelings of exclusion and belonging.
